sea breeze hostel - alona beach was a refreshing surprise during our family holiday in panglao. the location was beautiful, with hammocks and a lovely garden to relax in. the beds were comfy, the aircon and wifi worked well, and the hostel was clean. it was just a short walk to the beach and main strip of bars and restaurants. the staff were lovely too.

Wifi didn't work in the room.

I was pleasantly surprised by the strong and reliable wifi near reception, making it easy to stay connected. The location was also ideal, with popular bars and restaurants within walking distance. Plus, the air conditioning worked so well that I actually needed a jumper to stay cozy.

The staff at this hostel were absolutely incredible - super friendly, helpful, and just all-around awesome! The outdoor seating areas were comfortable and perfect for chilling with friends. And can we talk about the adorable kitties?! The dorms may be small, but they were surprisingly comfortable and the AC worked great. Oh, and don't forget to grab breakfast at Ellisons across the way. The beds and blankets smelled so fresh and clean, and the comfort rooms were always kept spotless. The staff went above and beyond to provide tips and assistance in getting around. I loved that the beach was just a 15-minute walk away, making the hostel a great place to relax. Seriously, this place is one of the cleanest hostels I've ever stayed in - the linens smelled better than me! The clothes lines were a nice touch, and I was pleasantly surprised that we could use the kitchenwares. I will definitely be coming back here. The beds were so comfy, the room was spotless, and both the air con and Wi-Fi worked like a dream. The garden with chairs and hammocks provided the perfect spot to unwind, and the vibe at this place was super chill. Plus, it was only a short walk from the beach and all the happening bars and restaurants. Shoutout to the amazing staff for making my stay so memorable!

The staff were friendly and the common area was a cute with a nice garden. The landscaping was beautiful and added to the overall ambiance of the place. The hostel offered fast WiFi, which was great for staying connected. Additionally, the air conditioning in the rooms worked well, providing relief from the heat.

The rooms were extremely small and cramped, with too many beds packed into a tiny space. This made it difficult to navigate through the room or find any space to leave your bags.

Personally, I found the bathrooms with showers a bit cramped, but others might not mind.

The hostel is conveniently located just a short walk away from the beach and the main strip of bars and restaurants. the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

15 mins walk to the beach, perfect for chillin' and hangin' with friends. Linens smell better than me! Clothes lines rock. Unexpected use of kitchenwares. Staff goes above and beyond! They hooked us up with a secret beach, top-notch restaurants, and local tricycle prices. Comfy beds, clean rooms, and working air con and WiFi. Garden with hammocks for ultimate relaxation. Short walk to beach and main strip. Helpful staff for organizing tours and scooter rental. Super clean facilities! Mind-blowing stay!

Uncomfy beds. I emailed the hostel to request a double bed for a couple. They even replied ok. When we got there we got bunk beds and an extra camp bed. You just have to laugh about this I guess? ? .

As longer term business travelers, we were impressed by the cleanliness of the beds and blankets, as well as the well-maintained comfort rooms. the staff were exceptionally accommodating and provided helpful tips on transportation in the area. the outdoor seating areas were comfortable, and we enjoyed the company of the friendly cats on the property. the dorms, although small, were still comfortable and the AC worked great. We also loved the fact that there was a delicious breakfast spot called Ellisons nearby.

Felt very well taken care of, nothing to complain about.
